Toaster Stable Technology

Shear Kershman has developed, patented, and licensed an extensive line of frozen grilled sandwich products that can be reconstituted in a toaster without burning or dripping contents into the toaster. This line also includes toaster-stable quesadillas and calzones. The grilled sandwiches have been licensed and are currently being commercialized, with 3 million in pre-orders verbally committed.

In addition, a patented line of toaster stable pastry products is available for further development and licensing including: toaster stable brownies, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and biscuits. Each of these products are designed to go from the freezer directly into the toaster with no delay for ambient temperature rise (and therefore for today’s hectic lifestyles, no waiting) and heat up without burning. Current toaster pastry products are very limited in the market. Numerous microwave pastries are available but microwaving significantly changes the eating characteristics of these products, whereas reheating in the toaster produces products that smell and taste as if they were coming “right from the oven”.
