Pharmaceutical, therapeutic, and nutraceutical products with improved delivery methods and sustained effectiveness are in incredibly strong demand among pet owners and health care practitioners of domestic animals worldwide. It’s not easy to give a dog a pill and even veterinarians have problems giving a cat a pill. All Motega’s Platform Technologies are being used in pet and animal applications and Motega will continue to expand into these hundred-billion-dollar markets. 

In January 2019, Motega entered into a royalty-bearing license agreement with a pharmaceutical company which specializes in licensing veterinary rights to human health drug candidates for animal applications. This licensee contemplates research, development, and commercialization of Motega’s novel patent pending testosterone therapy for companion animals; thereby, accelerating a new solution to meet the challenge of muscle loss and osteoarthritis in aging pets.
